Hotel La Floridiana enjoys a privileged location in a pedestrian area overlooking the sea, sheltered from the noise of the center but just a few steps from the Piazzetta and Via Camerelle, the center of Capri's fashion shopping. We are also close to Via Tragara, which leads to the Faraglioni rocks, and the famous Via Krupp, from which you can reach Marina Piccola.
Once disembarked at the port of Capri, the fastest way to reach the center, Piazzetta Umberto I, is by funicular, which takes only 3/4 minutes and has only one stop. Alternatively, you can also reach the center easily by taxi or bus, which takes about 15 minutes.
Once in Piazzetta, continue towards Via Camerelle and after about 100 meters, turn right onto Via Ignazio Cerio. After approximately 100 meters, turn left onto Via Campo di Teste, and you will find our hotel a few meters away.
However, even though the distance to the hotel is short, we recommend using the convenient paid luggage transportation service with an electric cart, especially when the luggage is bulky and heavy, both from the port and from Piazzetta.
To and from the port of Capri, you can avail of the luggage transportation service provided by the Port Cooperative, which will greet you upon disembarkation. Their staff is easily recognizable by their personalized blue shirts, and the service is particularly safe and quick. Just provide the name of our hotel, and after a while, your luggage will arrive in your room.
To and from Piazzetta, we can offer a paid luggage transportation service with our electric cart, with prior reservation.
The hotel is not accessible by car because the entire center of Capri is pedestrian-only, which is also why we cannot provide shuttle service.
Of course, upon request, we can arrange private transfers to and from Naples or Rome, including by speedboat or helicopter.
