Hotel La Floridiana is an ideal location in the center of Capri, strategically positioned to explore all the wonders of the island.
Our property is located in a pedestrian area, offering an oasis of peace and serenity away from the noise of the center. However, just a few steps from the Piazzetta and Via Camerelle, we are in the heart of Capri's fashion shopping district, ensuring easy access to prestigious boutiques.
Path from the Port of Capri
Once you disembark at the port of Capri, the quickest way to reach the center, the "piazzetta" Umberto I, is by the Funicolare (Cable car), which takes only 3-4 minutes and has only one stop. Alternatively, you can also reach the center by taxi or bus, but it takes about 15 minutes.
Once you arrive at the Piazzetta, with the clock tower behind you, continue walking through the pedestrian area along Via Vittorio Emanuele, Via Camerelle, and Via Ignazio Cerio. In a few minutes, you will reach Via Campo di Teste, where you will find our hotel.
Luggage transport
Although the distance to reach the hotel is short, we recommend taking advantage of the convenient paid luggage transport service using an electric cart, especially when your luggage is bulky and heavy, both from the port and from the Piazzetta.
For transport from the port of Capri, you can use the luggage transport service provided by the Port Cooperatives, which will welcome you upon disembarkation. Their staff is easily recognizable by their custom blue shirts, and the service is particularly safe and fast. Just provide the name of Hotel La Floridiana, and your luggage will be delivered to your room.
From the Piazzetta, we can offer a paid luggage transport service using our electric cart, with prior reservation required. Our hotel is not accessible by car since the entire center of Capri is pedestrian-only, which is also why we do not offer shuttle service.
We can arrange private transfers to and from Naples or Rome, including private boat or helicopter transfers. Ask us for more information on how to arrange this.
